This Privacy Policy explains how FinMart Pte Ltd, trading as AskKenny ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data when you visit askkenny.biz or engage our business-funding advisory and broking services. We are committed to handling your personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the "PDPA").

AskKenny is a trading name of FinMart Pte Ltd (UEN [UEN to be confirmed]), a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered office at [Registered office address to be confirmed]. We act as an independent business-funding advisor and broker. We help Singapore small and medium enterprises review funding services and, where suitable and with your consent, introduce you to banks and licensed financial institutions.

This policy applies to personal data we collect through our website, our enquiry and WhatsApp forms, and our communications with you. It does not apply to third-party websites or platforms that we link to or that you use to reach us.

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following personal data:

  • Enquiry details that you provide through our forms or WhatsApp, such as your name, phone number, email address, company name, annual turnover range, employee size range, the funding service you are interested in, and any message or details you choose to share.
  • Communications when you contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp, or messaging, including the content of those messages.
  • Technical and usage data collected automatically when you visit our website, such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and general interaction data through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Information from advertising platforms if you reach us through a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) lead form or advertisement, in which case we receive the details you submitted on that platform.

You do not need to provide personal data to browse general information on our website. If you choose not to provide the details we request in an enquiry, we may not be able to review your funding options or introduce you to a suitable financial institution.

3. How we use your personal data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about it.
  • To review your situation, assess the funding services that may be suitable, and prepare an eligibility review.
  • Where suitable and with your consent, to introduce you to and share relevant details with banks and licensed financial institutions so they can assess your application.
  • To provide our advisory and broking services and to follow up on your enquiry.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services.
  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests, and to protect our legal rights.

We collect, use, and disclose your personal data only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, and for which you have given consent or for which consent is deemed or permitted under the PDPA.

5. How we share your personal data

We may disclose your personal data to:

  • Banks and licensed financial institutions that we introduce you to, with your consent, so they can assess your eligibility and application.
  • Service providers that support our operations, such as website hosting and infrastructure providers, email and messaging providers, and analytics and advertising providers, who are permitted to use your data only to provide services to us.
  • Professional advisers such as our legal, accounting, or compliance advisers where reasonably necessary.
  • Authorities and other parties where required or permitted by law, regulation, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We do not sell your personal data. Each financial institution, advertising platform, or other third party that receives your data and uses it for its own purposes is responsible for its own handling of that data under its own privacy policy.

12. Marketing and the Do Not Call provisions

We use the contact details you provide to respond to your enquiry and to carry out the eligibility review and introductions you have asked for. We do not send unsolicited marketing messages. If, in future, we wish to send you marketing communications that are not related to your enquiry, we will only do so where permitted by law, including the Do Not Call provisions of the PDPA, and you will be able to opt out at any time.
